I've had a couple of people ask me lately why I haven't posted anything on my blog - am I alive? Did I forget? Am I ok? Has he abandoned his blog to flip burgers or some other sad fate? Oh, yes.. I'm just fine - but I guess like a lot of people I'm working in a million different directions all at once, and sometimes that means I forget about stuff like this. Short answer - I've been too busy blogging to blog lately. I'm sure you must be on the edge of your seat wondering what I've been up to, but the truth of the matter is that I can't tell you. What I can tell you is... 1. It's super awesome. 2. It involves the internet (hehe.. ya think?!) 3. It's a blog - yes, an actual real blog for the sake of monetization blog. 4.
God, I hate creative block... Sitting here staring at this design for a client that has some rather particular requirements - I mean, nothing impossible, but sometimes after sitting at a computer all day, you just kind of start to phase out a bit. At least, I do. After awhile, it's almost impossible for me to do anything creative or think about what I'm doing. I have learned a couple of tricks though... one thing I do is that if I'm having a creative block, I'll go do something technical for awhile instead. If I'm working on something technical and hit a block, I'll go do something creative to offset it. This works up to a point because if you're doing something creative, you're using the right hemisphere of the brain, whereas technical tasks require more use by the left hemisphere of the brain. So, switching back and forth helps give one
